Good info-thanks! What I'm wondering is if you don't clear the memory, and exceed the neo's limit, will it start overwriting the old images, or just stop recording?
Great tips learned here Nobby👍 I’ve just been looking at various RUclips footage examples of the Neo on my Sony Oled 48 inch TV and its a very stable production, just too over sharpened, but a very impressive for such a budget device. Let’s see what the firmware updates bring, but I’m already tempted to get one for those quick shots and fun the factor. Keep those updates coming 👍👍
@@terryneilbooth yes Terry it does appear a little over sharp on some. This can be altered when using it with the controller either the latest RCN3 or the RC2. However for the money it’s still pretty decent and one of those that you can quickly launch and get footage with very little set up 👍 thanks 🙏
@@WeretheRoberts hey Kevin. It uploads what ever it records in. The low res files on the phone are for checking/viewing. 👍 until you download them. Pretty neat little drone ☺️
Thanks for the video Nobby. The good news about having to wait a month for the Neo here in the USA is that folks like you will have most of the kinks ironed out before we get our hands on it. Hopefully DJI will also have at least one firmware update prior to USA release date addressing camera concerns as well.
@@bobwhitewo3b yes that’s true Bob. I have heard that there is an update for the camera but I can’t Find it at the moment. I’m sure it will come through 👍 thanks 🙏
@@technickr I think this is part of the file process when using quick transfer as you are able to modify certain aspects of the video. Files downloaded on pc are just plain files. Probably a DJI system similar to the pocket 3 👍
Could lacking a SD card matter? No! The internal memory is 20+ GB, you can download the footages easily. Amplifying a not-so-significant issue and making it a major one perhaps a trick to get more visitors.
@@ckshene7212 the purpose of the video which is quite obviously aimed at new users showing them exactly how to download their footage as there is no SD card. In like most other drones that do have them. Yes, 20g is a fair amount of storage but you can soon use it up! Thanks ☺️

Neo is not flawed and lack memory!.... People lack understanding of what this drone is for!.... If you need more than 45 min of 4K fottage in one go, then you have the wrong drone 🙃😜
@@RepairGuyDK I didn’t say it lacked memory just the fact that it doesn’t have an SD card. Which most drones have. It a lot easier for some to take a card out. The memory should be sufficient for most users 👍 thanks 🙏
Thanks for the report. It conforms that the NEO is not interesting for me. The NEO is a budget toy. Flying a Mavic 3 pro, recording in 4K, 48 FPS, one 128 GB card lasts for 3 batteries, 3 x 30 minutes. Then changing to a new, empty card, installing battery number 4 is standard. Downloading the content of a full 128 GB memory card to the PC takes about one hour. Who accepts long Pc downloading delays being out there? Okey, the NEO captures, what was it, 22 GB? Still too much time needed to empty the internal memory.
@@Stefan_Boerjesson the Neo is not for everyone agreed. But it is what it is. It does what it says on the box. It’s far from a toy in my opinion ☺️ thanks 🙏
You can also plug a type c cable into the drone and your phone and transfer your files that way. The Neo doesnt even have to be turned on 😊
